Today we went round Derwentwater lake on boats. First we got on a boat with not much rainproof compartments so we got wet. Then we got off and walked up a hill and over a stone bridge. Then we went back down to the jetty to wait for the boat to come. When we got on the boat it had much more warm spaces with not too much outside wetness. I was glad we were on that boat. Then we got off another stop where we walked to a fancy hotel where we had lunch. Then we took a walk in the hotel's gardens. Then we had to go back to the jetty to wait for the boat, this time the boat was 7 minutes late. Then after that we got off at another stop and walked to the next stop. After we got to that stop we walked another way to stop number 6. Then we got on a boat and headed back to Keswick. Dictated by Oscar who was too tired to type. :)

Wow. What an adventure Oscar. I'm really enjoying your blog posts.
ReplyDeleteI've been catching boats a bit lately too. I'm staying with my Mum in Christchurch and we catch a ferry most days to go to town. My cousin and I got VERY wet one day too, because it rained so hard. It even flooded in some parts of Christchurch and in Little River.
It's a lovely day today though.
TEACHER MOMENT: Can I challenge you to look for interesting new ways to start your sentences. Try to start each sentence with different words than the one before. You have such wonderful words in your brain Oscar, you might be able to give Room3 some ideas. We start the new term on Tuesday and we'll be working on the same goal.
Big hugs from me and the bunnies (I think they are with Safia or Keilah?)
